Thanks to the fantastic efforts from our audience and staff, Cambridge Folk Festival once again won ‘Outstanding’ at the A Greener Festival Awards in 2023! Thank you for all your help.

One of the key reasons we won this award is because we consider our waste outputs and aim to reduce and recycle as much as possible. Our recycling team work tirelessly to ensure we leave no trace.

We are pleased to invite you to become a Friend of Cambridge Folk Festival and help us sustain our waste and recycling efforts in 2024. Working in harmony with the beautiful grounds we are fortunate enough to call home is imperative to the future of Cambridge Folk Festival.

Our festival’s waste at 0.3 kg per person per day is significantly lower than the industry benchmark of 2 kg due to our efforts managing and encouraging reductions.

As a Friend of Cambridge Folk Festival we will include your name on our ‘Friends of Cambridge Folk Festival’ page in our programme and on our website.
